Toastmasters – Motivating your audience

I have an audacious plan for my speech #6. It is the 10th project from the Competent Communicator manual. The objective of this project is to motivate the audience with a idea so powerful that they forget to clap at the end of the meeting.

I think it can be done. And my topic for the 10th project is “Improving your working memory”.

I have requested for two volunteers from the club with whom I will be meeting over the weekend to understand how receptive they are to Visual learning. The technique involves remembering lists using the memory palace technique.

I will be making 10 items on my grocery list and asking the volunteers to visualize them and associate it with the their memory palace.

Let’s see how that goes. Stay tuned. I will post the progress of this project once I meet my volunteers.

It will always be exciting to read through content from other authors
and practice something from other websites.
